Pair Large Imposing Cast Stone 16thC Style Dogs

A large and imposing pair of cast stone dogs, copied from original C16th carved stone dogs. Each dog has it's own personality but each with open mouths and tongues lolling out. They both wear heavy collars with chains attached.

The dogs were taken from original C16th statues that were worn with time and these casts show exactly that. The lines in the dogs show where they have been cast and built and not damage. They have been outside and are weathered and have a lovely patina. Both dogs are extremely heavy and are stable.

We have nicknamed them 'The Hounds of the Baskervilles' Please study the photographs for more detail. If you require further information then please contact us.

We will gladly accept returns within 14 days of delivery if the item is not as described or broken in transit.
