Late 19thC Inlaid Teak Indian Workbox

An Indian workbox, inlaid teak from the late 19thC. The top is inlaid with "Ibrahim Hajee Cassum" and a foliate decoration. Reinforced with brass strapping and corners. The top lifts to reveal a removable tray with compartments to reveal an internal space. Displays very well and very tactile.

Condition... Some losses to the inlay in places. Some pins missing where the brass is attached but nothing is loose. Signs of wear consistent with it's age and use Please see pictures for more details.
