Early 19thC Rosewood Tea Table
An early 19th century rosewood tea table. Perfect as a hall console table and just there for when you need that slightly large table, this could sit 4 people quite comfortably when opened out. The shaped rectangular top sits on a stepped column terminating in acanthus flowers to a quatripartite base which then sits on unusual carved supports, exch of which has it's own original castor. The top swivvels around and opens out to reveal a stunning square table top. There is storage under one half of the top, accesible when swivveled open.
Condition... The top shows signs of use, probably caused by water from a plant being watered but when you open up the top, the inside is beautful. The inside does have some tiny indentations (very tiny ones) please see pictures. No loose joints. Some veneer missing from edge but only small amounts.
Dimensions... Height 75 cm (when folded) Width 92 cm Depth 45 cm and 90 cm
